When you submit a trade enquiry we collect your name, company, country, email address, phone number (optional), product interest, and the contents of your message. We do not use tracking cookies beyond what is essential to make the site work.
Why we collect it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, evaluate a potential commercial relationship, and keep a record of correspondence. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are retained for up to 36 months from your last interaction, after which they are deleted unless an active commercial relationship requires us to keep them longer for legal or accounting purposes.
Where it is stored
Data is stored on secure servers operated by our cloud provider. Access is limited to authorised Doring Bay Abalone staff.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@doringbayabalone.co.za and we will respond within 30 days.
